Aling – Aling and other Secret Waterfalls in Sambangan

Aling – Aling Waterfall is an amazing waterfall in North Bali. It is one of 7 Waterfalls in Sambangan Village, Buleleng Regency. Furthermore, it is a unique waterfall. The of the waterfall is about 35 meters above the ground we stand. The top of it has two sides and the right side has a bigger discharge than the left one. Lush trees surround it where the water falling from a steep cliff. Hence, Aling –  Aling is the most popular among the others. The following waterfalls are as follow:

Canging Waterfall

The location of Canging Waterfall is on the top of Aling – Aling Waterfall. The local people chose the name based on the name of the tree growth beside of the waterfall.

Dedari Waterfall/Angle Waterfall

The location of Dedari Waterfall is below Canging Waterfall. The name is based on the local word Dedari. It means Angle. The local people believe that there were a group of angles using the waterfall for taking a bath. Hence, the waterfall name is becoming Dedari Waterfall.

Cemara Waterfall / Fir Waterfall

The villager in Sambangan Village call Cemara  waterfall because there are very large and high pine trees in there. To see the waterfalls, we have to pass through the rice field and wilderness.

Kyoya Waterfall

It is a special waterfall for you who wants to test your adrenaline because we can do water slide in there. The name is coming from Kroya as Tropical Tree growth beside of the waterfall. You should not be afraid to try that because the locals will rent you a safety equipment for your activity.

Kembar Waterfall / Twin Waterfall

Kembar Waterfall is another wonderful waterfall in Sambangan. At this site, there are two waterfalls used by the tourist to jump from the hill. The name is coming from the local word Kembar. It means kembar. Therefore, the name of the waterfall become Twin Waterfall / Kembar Waterfall.

Pucuk Waterfall

Pucuk waterfall is the last waterfall for you who is falling in love with extreme journey. The waterfall height is 15 meter. You may jump the pond from the cliff by using a safety equipment.

Moreover, most of the waterfall has a pond below. Domestic or foreign tourists usually use the pond to swim and to jump from the cliff. If you come to the waterfall, you should feel the fresh cold natural water from it. Tourist typically spend up to 1.5 until 2 hours in the waterfall.

The Location Aling – Aling and the others Sambangan Waterfall

The location of the Aling-Aling waterfall is in Sambangan village, Sukasada district, Buleleng regency, Bali. It is about 11 km from Singaraja or it will take 20 minutes from Lovina Beach and 3 hours from Ngurah Rai Air International Airport. If you wanna go from Denpasar, you should take the road to Singaraja. Furthermore, you will see some tourist attractions along the way such as Bedugul Botanical Garden, Taman Ayun, Ulun Danu Temple, Gitgit Waterfall, The Twin Buyan and Tamblingan Lake. How to get there

After you arrived on the parking lot, you will start your journey on foot by trekking down to the location through the rice fields and forest. The distance from the parking lot is about 400 M.  The track down to the river through the steps is a special feature of this site while enjoying the fresh atmosphere of jungle. Now, you may enjoy the cold atmosphere, the beautiful view, and the freshness of the Aling – Aling Water.
