Relax Your Body by Taking a Bath in Natural Hot Water
Banjar hot spring is one of the most famous hot springs in northern Bali. Almost every day is crowded in tourist visits, both local Bali tourists, domestic tourists Indonesia and foreign tourists. There are so many traveller both domestic and foreign visit the hot spring. In the bath, you can calm yourself down while relaxing the body after a day of vacation around Bali.
Soaking in hot water will provide a very good health benefits. Especially if soaking in a natural hot spring water that usually containing sulphur. It will certainly prevent us from some skin diseases. The temperature of hot water that reaches 35 Celsius, can widen the pores of the skin therefore the skin can absorb various minerals which are important for the body.
Banjar Hot Spring consists of 3 pool, those are:
This pool is the smallest area among the other 2 pools. The depth is very shallow. It is only one meter. In this pool, there are 8 pieces of shower. The design is like dragon head. The hot water is draining from the inside of his mouth. You can enjoy Hot Water right under the dragon’s shower. Travellers coming with their child usually swim or soak in this small pool.
The second pool is under the first pool. It has a length of 12 meters and a 10 meter wide pool. The pool is the largest pool in the hot spring. If you are swimming in the second pond, please be careful because the variety of the pool depth. Hence, it makes the second become favourite hot pool for visitors to swim or soak.
The third hot pool is in the west of the second pool and separated from the other pool. There is a shower in the third pool and a shower height of approximately 3 meters. The pool is not deep, just as deep as the waist of an adult. The water from the three showers is commonly used by visitors to massage the back ridge.
After bathing in the hot water pool, you may try a room for in there to relax your body.
The hot spring location is in Banjar Sub-District. It is about 35 kilometers from Gitgit Waterfall and it will take 3 hours’ drive from Bali’s International Airport. Meanwhile, the opening of this site is from 07.00 am until 18.00 pm daily.
