Belimbing Rice Terrace – A Landscape View On West Bali
Belimbing Rice Terrace is another beautiful rice terrace that we can find in Tabanan regency, Belimbing Village. It approximately takes about 2 hours to reach Belimbing Village from Denpasar City. Similar to Ceking and Jatiluwih, Belimbing rice terrace also offers a stunning view and peaceful atmosphere with Mount Batukaru as backdrop. The beautiful panorama and scenery that is offered here will impress visitors who visit this rice terrace. Although it is not as popular as Jatiluwih.
The best time to visit this rice terrace is in the morning. The green scenery, the morning dew and the cool temperature of Belimbing would feel very fresh. The visitors usually take a picture by taking a good angle. It would be great for having album collection special just for rice fields in Bali. This rice field is a great alternative for you who does not have chance to visit Jatiluwih or Ceking because it serves you a cool and calm atmosphere.
The Location of Belimbing Rice Terrace
Belimbing Village is a traditional village in West Bali. It is 3 hours drive from Ngurah Rai International Airport or Ubud Traditional Village. The village location is in Tabanan Regency, 600 meter above sea level. Hence, the temperature is little bit cool. Furthermore, in Belimbing village, we can find some restaurants and food stalls. It provides simple and traditional menu. While viewing the beautiful panorama of rice field, you can enjoy delicious meals served in the restaurants.
The Features of Belimbing Rice Terrace
The villager in this village mostly work as a farmer while the remaining as a labor or trader. Moreover, The farmers in this village usually has two jobs, working on the rice field or working in the garden. If you are in the village in a good occasion, you may join the farmers work in the rice field. Otherwise, you may join the farmer to harvest some tropical plantation such as durian, coffee, clove, rambutan, and mangosteen.

Tabanan is the regency with the largest rice field in Bali and most of the people work as farmer.
