Bali Island is well-known as one of all island in the world that has many unique cultures. Balinese Dance is one of all interesting cultures that really good to explore and know how exactly Balinese dance it is.  I think every people who have been visited Bali know about some of Balinese Dances. How many exactly the number of Balinese Dance in total, that is question that can’t answered yet. Balinese Dance not always according a story, but the main purpose of Balinese Dance is to show the philosophy of the Dance fully with expression, because of that some people said that Balinese Dance has a unique way to transfer the meaning of the Dance. Many references tell that Balinese Dance  categorizes to be 3 main group that is Wali dance, Bebali Dance and Balihan-Balihan Dance that each of the group categorizes  has differences philosophy inside the dance.

  1. Rejang Dewa

    Pendet is an dance Opening dance Ceremony  at the temple that danced by mature woman while carrying equipment of offerings.
  4. Sanghyang Dedari
    Dedari Dance is a secret dance that incorporates elements of trance in order to entertain the gods, asking for blessing and refused reinforcements.
  5. Barong
    Barong Dance is a dance that tells goodness defeat the Badness. The Good character is a Barong and the enemy is Rangda (mother of the evil  in this story).
  6. Sanghyang Jaran
    Sanghyang Jaran is a dance in Balinese culture that only danced by chosen man at the temple as a ceremony to refused reinforcements as one of Balinese people offerings to the gods sincerely.
